This competitive event is a chance to enjoy part of the day with a friend (only a driver and navigator) while exploring the back roads and small towns of the Coachella Valley. All Rally roads are lightly traveled and paved. Our TSD Rally does not require any special equipment or modifications to your vehicle.

This competitive event will test your skills of staying on time and on course. We direct you with provided instructions provided to Uncle Jack's party at his estate (well, actually the finish will be at the La Quinta Resort). Of course, we will not be taking the most direct route to Uncle Jack's estate. The competitive part of this event is following the course and matching the assigned speeds (never over the speed limit) and then observing how you are doing by having you check-in at checkpoints along the route. Consider bringing a clipboard, writing instruments, a clock (like a kitchen timer), even your smart device. Competitors are classified by the level of sophistication of equipment.

There will be a break about halfway thru the route for gas and other essentials. You may want to bring water and snacks as the total TSD Rally will take about 4 hours.

Of course, you’ll be back in time for the Ice Cream Social at the La Quinta Resort.

New to the TSD Rally? Have questions?  Attend the TSD Rally School, Monday June 22, after you enjoy the morning at the Concours d’Elegance.  Look for the location in your Parade schedule.
