Our dedicated Parade Team is hard at work assembling and finalizing the hundreds of details for July 2020.
To obtain an idea of offerings at the 2020 Parade, you may review the 2019 Registration Guide at
http://parade2019.pca.org/docs/Registration Guide 2019.pdf; keep in mind events do change and new events are introduced every year.
Continue to check the Parade Website (porscheparade.org) periodically for updates as more information becomes available in the coming weeks, as well as PCA’s “eBrake” that is delivered to your inbox every Tuesday.
Parade is a week-long event year comprised of four competitive events (Concours, TSD Rally, Autocross and Technical Quiz—trophies are awarded for all) along with a variety of activities ranging from Banquets, Tours (driving, bus, cruise and self-guided), Tech Academy, Golf Tournament, 5K Run/Walk, Art Show, Drive and Compare, Wine and Beer Tastings, Parade Kid activities as well as some new venues in the mix. While many members choose to participate for the entire week, you can be involved as much as your travel plans allow.
The registration entry fee covers the “entrant” and “co-entrant” (there are additional fees for children, JPP, CAFP and Adult Guests). This fee helps to defray costs for general overhead, on-site/off-site/venue rental fees, signage, audiovisual equipment, name badges, Parade Bag (collectible pin/patch), car entrant numbers, printed materials, security, car wash areas, bottled water at various venues and trophies. It also helps with the cost of Hospitality during the week (offers beverages and light snacks during the day), Ice Cream Social, Seminars, Tech Academy, Art Show, Radio Controlled Car Events, Welcome Tent and some Parade Kid activities
Additional fees apply for banquets and selected events.
Once an entrant completes the online registration process and checks out (pays with a credit card), they receive an immediate email to their inbox --normally within a few seconds-- indicating the process is complete (the system processes in order of credit card confirmation). It contains the unique Parade Entrant Number, hotel entrant code, and a link (all are needed to be able to reserve lodging for Parade Week at the reserved PCA block rate).
Each entrant/co-entrant/CAFP/JPP/child/adult guest MUST PROVIDE PICTURE ID AND SIGN A PCA WAIVER PRIOR TO RECEIVING THEIR PARADE CREDENTIALS and Check-In Packet. You will then be able to circulate through the room to check-in with the events you have pre-registered for during Parade Week. The competitive events, tours, and banquets usually take a little more time. Once completed, you turn in your completed “Registration Checklist” to receive your Parade Bag (only one bag per entrant number).
During the week, “Late Check-In” is available Monday through Friday (hours diminish as the week progresses—be sure to check the Parade Schedule for availability). Early in the week this process can be time consuming (especially on Monday)—so please plan accordingly.
